This was very informative. Now I know what happened to my pumpkin plants. I put them in the soil at ground level, and they disappeared. This was after several days of heavy rain. Apparently they didn’t like the water.

Took a bit to find info to pick scape when has 1st loop. Picked some scapes and scape stem still growing. Do i snap off again? 1st time growing garlic & do i fertilize again in last month?

This year I chopped and dried my scapes, the used a coffee grinder to blitz it into powder. It made a green, garlic-chive tasting spice powder. Works in any recipe where you might use garlic powder.

I’m disappointed. I overwintered my garlic but I think I planted too soon. It was growing like gangbusters and now, nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. 😢. I’m leaving it but I’m heartbroken. Maybe it’ll volunteer next year? 🙏

Don't know why, but after multiple years of good harvests this year's garlic didn't do so well. The stems popped up and got tall, but all around they fell over while still green. When I dug them up, the stems seem to have been ruptured a few inches above the bulb, and the bulbs themselves are tiny. I might not have kept up with watering earlier in the year, but I don't think if that would cause the stems to have break open underground the way they did.

Luke - cut your grass!!!

All my garlic rotted in the fabric grow bags because it rained almost every day for over a month! I wonder if I had grown it in the ground if it would have had enough drainage to survive anyway. Maybe I'll try again that way now that it is no longer raining.

I've used potatoes for larvae in the past.

I bought Daikon radish seed. You leave them in the ground to break up clay soil. They have a deep tap root.😊

Why not tackle the real issue. That being the increased cost for soil period. $16-$20 bucks for tree bark/chips, perlite, and a tiny bit of top soil. Soil for the big bags should only be 6 bucks. This is getting ridiculous on the pricing. I will no longer be buying bag as I can make my own now in my mixer for less than 2-3 bucks a bag of 3 cubic feet or so when you break it down. Heck the top soil, compost, tree bark are free. Perlite and coconut coir or peat moss and trace minerals are the biggest cost and they are cheap as well.

As many bags of dirt Mircle grow sells everyday they would have a hole as big as the Grand Canyon after all these yrs. 😂 Ground up wood chips being sold as dirt or top soil.

You should consider adding some short cooking clips into your gardening videos. Of things that you're harvesting out of your garden. They don't need to be overly long clips.Maybe you can edit them and add them to the end of your. RUclips video for the day.

My daughter ordered migardener seeds often from Spain and loved them, now living in Portugal,where customs are most famous for poor service, adding extra tax,having an impossible system to clear packages etc,to the point we never order from overseas anymore. Can you tell me if you have had any issues delivering to customers in Portugal?
